Malia Swift Kulp is an electrifying performer, singer, teacher and sound healer. She uses her own voice to teach, perform, heal and empower - Vocal Alchemist. And facilitates small and large groups in using their own voices to improvise, dance, build community, and elevate consciousness. She is committed to the reclamation of power through the voice, and works with women as a vocal empowerment teacher and coach. Her training, performance, teaching, and healing work crosses many contexts and demographics, from the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall to transformational festivals to intimate house healing groups. Malia shines like the sun and will light you up with the glory of her voice.
Katie Down, MT-BC, LCAT, is a licensed creative arts therapist, sound therapist, certified Reiki practitioner and professional composer/performer. She runs the Sound Well Center, a private practice with offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn, offering integrative psychotherapy, music therapy and sound with Reiki to individuals and groups as well as clinical supervision, sound baths and meditation workshops. MJ Caselden is a sound artist and creative technologist based out of New York City. He experiments with magnetic fields to create sound, inducing vibration in metal and wood. Caselden leads group listening rituals and workshops on innovative technology, and is exploring integration of meditative sound into healing arts and lifestyle. His sound art has been shown around the country in spaces such as the New Museum of Contemporary Art, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and Times Square NY.
hannes bend is a certified yoga/meditation instructor, and has been working with kids and people all ages internationally in yoga studios, 1-on-1, ashrams, on Rikers Island, summer camps and academic conferences. In 2016, hannes initiated the first Wim Hof workshop in Brooklyn. hannes has conducted neuroscientific studies on meditation techniques with renowned researchers such as Michael Posner, and presented research on consciousness and contemplative practices at renowned conferences. hannes is inspired by his personal journey about healing from birth trauma/cerebral palsy/projected wheelchair/decades of depression through contemplative practices. hannes is convinced the subjective experience is the most essential embodied (re-)search. hannes loves all beings and any practices to realize and embody oneness. www.webreathions.com
